As an anime fan I am thrilled Baldurs Gate 3 won a Hugo Award for writing. Seeing a game honored like a novel feels validating. The characters and branching stories have the same depth I love in light novels. I hope this opens doors for more rich game narratives and maybe an anime adaptation someday
