As an otaku, I am so excited that Baldurs Gate 3 won a Hugo Award for writing. A video game getting literary sci fi and fantasy recognition feels like a big win for narrative games and reminds me of the emotional depth in my favorite visual novels and anime. Hope more games get this respect.
